What is plaster skimming?
Plaster skimming is a thin finishing coat of plaster applied over a prepared surface to leave it smooth and ready for paint or wallpaper. It is often used over plasterboard, over a bonded surface, or over a textured coating such as Artex when a smooth finish is wanted.
